We get a lot of
testimonials from people using coloured
overlays and reading rulers. Mrs. Kelly, from Essex, rang recently (w/c
9/3/09)to order some more. This is what she said: "We had a bit of money
left in the S.E.N. budget, so we thought we'd try some reading rulers on a few
children. One boy was nearly in tears because he said that the page had stopped
jumping around. He said that black on white always made him feel sick, but he
thought it was like that for everybody..."

thick, dumb and stupid, when at school. I have a problem with what some
Teachers say about labelling as more often than not they label the
children anyway but don't tell anyone. I would much prefer a
label that we ALL know about than one of theirs that only they know
about. It should not be some sort of bad secret. I and my children are
proud to be Dyslexic now that we understand what it is and what
